Our new Picasso Cupcake Stands!

Do you have the next Picasso, Monet, Van Gogh ? Then an Art Party might be just the thing for them when celebrating their next birthday! What a fun and unique party that is full of fun inexpensive things that you can do. This party can be geared for younger or older children! One of the things we try to do at Mommy Mogul is provide innovative, fun, and unique gifts and merchandise! We decided that an artist's color paint palette would look adorable as a cupcake stand!

We were right!

This stand is made out of 3/4 inch plywood and painted a deep chocolate brown color.
I cut it out myself! I love power tools!

All you have to do is have the bakery make your cupcakes with the solid colors using a straight tip (so they look like mounds of paint on a painter's palette)!
We think it came out pretty perfect!

The idea of the giant tube of paint that you see in the picture came from setting the mood. We saw this in one of her parties and loved it! I wanted to buy a few when I saw them, but upon closer inspection I realized I could make it! And I think I did a pretty good job. But the idea was ingenious and I can't take credit for it. Art Parties are lots of fun because they are colorful and there are so many different things you can do! I think little chalkboards (on desk top easels) with guests name on it would be great place cards.
Empty paint cans are VERY inexpensive to buy at hardware stores and you can have different colors of fabric coming out of it to resemble paint. You can stack them up in the center of the table for a cute centerpiece. If your budget can afford it, a smoch for each guest would be fun and a great party favor!

Signs make the difference!

There is no better way to announce your party than a sign. Signs can add that little extra detail that can put your party on a whole different level than everyone else. As we all know, it is the attention to details that makes one party stand out from another one. Signs are just the ticket when wanting to cheaply add a little pizazz to your party. You can make signs out of cardboard, foam core, thin mdf, or even plywood. You can use paint or vinyl to spruce up your sign.

Mother's Day is celebrated in over 46 countries across the globe. This is the day to stop, remember, and pray for that special person in our life. Your Mother! I remember as a little girl, we always cooked my Mother breakfast in bed on Mother's Day. I secretly wished that someday I would receive the same treatment. Now, so many years later, not only do I tell my Mother happy Mother's day, but I am a Mother as well! For 364 days my children may not express just how much they appreciate me, but they really make up for it on Mother's Day!

Breakfast at Tiffany's selling like diamonds!

I happen to LOVE Audrey Hepburn! I have probably watched every movie she has made. That is why on the wallpaper on Twitter I have. . . . Audrey Hepburn! And when asked to come up with a baby shower theme I did . . . . Audrey Hepburn! I decided to create some invitations with . . . . Audrey Hepburn (bet you saw that coming!)

I have been extremely surprised by the tremendous response we have received from these invitations! They have been selling like hotcakes! We have sold some recently on etsy and we are in the process of more orders from some local customers. And we received another request online! WOW! It amazes me the different seasons you find yourself in when you own your own business. You will find that some seasons you will sell more of one item than you do another. For some unknown reason people are all looking for the same thing and buy them around the same time! We're in bridal and baby shower season, therefore we are in . . . . Audrey Hepburn season! I think I might have to come up with a bridal shower Breakfast at Tiffany's package with Tiffany blue and white! My creative juices are flowing!!!!!
